About the Department<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The department of Seed Science and Technology started functioning with the establishment of the College of Agriculture, Vijayapur in the year 1990-91. It offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brief History of the PG degree programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objectives of Initiating M.Sc. Programme<\/td>To prepare students to cope with the current professional scenario with relevance to practical needs and skill requirements.<\/td><\/tr>
Accomplishments of Programme<\/td>The researchable issues have been undertaken through PG Research and burning issues related to Entomology have been addressed.Students found a better way through good placements and  occupied various positions at semi govt. and private sectors<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
